I bought this all-in-one printer scanner recently, I had no problems setting it up using the USB cable, however, when I decided going to wireless using my router to manage connections to the printer/scanner everything started to complicate.
I was able to make it work on windows for wireless print, however wireless scanning is not possible. Also, I noticed that using the Canon PRINT app in Android everything works fine, however using it on iPhone devices the printer simply never register.
Digging on internet I found I'm not the only one with the issue and also it tends to happen to another Canon printer/scanner devices. In some posts I see that the application "network scanner selector ex2" must be running to be able to scan wirelessly, such application should be installed by the master setup, but this isn't happening. Added to all this, it seems that there's is no link to download such application at the official webpage.
In the other hand, there's no tech support available for such product, I created the account to register the product online, and when I click the option for tech support it displays " Sorry the page you're trying to look doesn't exists".
Can someone from Canon give an effective solution to this issue? Otherwise I won't hesitate on dumping this device back and ask for a refund, it's a big complication to setup something that should be real quick to be setup...
Regards.
