Professional Print & Layout -- incomplete error message, will not print

MelBen3

I received a PIXMA PRO-200 as present a couple of weeks ago.  I'm using it through an Apple Mac, running Sequoia 15.1 and the Professional Print & Layout package.  I produced a couple of really nice prints early on, but after about a week off, the PP&L package now errors out after hitting the "Print" button.  All I get from the Job Manager is, "Error -- Please..." with nothing else.  Nothing I have tried will expand that message, so I don't even know what kind of error is taking place.  No error shows on the printer itself.  I can print successfully using the Mac's printing function, so the printer is working, and communicating with the computer.  Rebooting has had no effect.

The PP&L package does seem better than the Apple default for producing prints, but after working initially, I can't get past this mystery error message.  Any ideas out there?  Thanks --

I searched for a "new" printer, and found my Canon available to be found, with a different IP address (?!?). Anyway, loading that one up appears to have solved the problem.  I still never actually saw a completed error message, which strikes me as an issue.  In any case, good to go........for now.

Did you try downloading and re-installing PP&L?

I just downloaded and reinstalled.  No change, I'm sorry to say.
