PIXMA TR7022 Scan Utility missing driver?

Installed printing and scanning software, which seemed to take a long time BTW, and when I fire up the scan utility, error message states I'm missing a driver. I don't have any virus protection installed other than Defender (that came with the laptop) and Malwarebytes in passive mode; scan on demand only.

I've tried installing both over our home network and with a USB cable without success. I can get the Windows scan to work, but will only do one page at a time in .PNG format which is too large to email.
