I recently bought an mg3629 printer. I installed the wireless setup on my laptop. Then I had to buy a new laptop. Now every time I try to install it the printer connection is lost mid installation, and thus fails.

I am running Windows 10 Pro Version 10.01.19045. I was able to install via USB but it will not connect wirelessly.

Greetings,
RedDog84,
The printer can connect to a 2.4Ghz wireless broadcast that supports WPA2 encryption.
Please confirm you are trying to connect to a supported network. Note, if you are using a dual or tri-band router that uses the same SSID name for multiple networks, it might be helpful to temporarily disable the 5G broadcast until the printer is connected. If the AP uses WPA3 encryption, you may need to specify WPA2 for backwards compatibility.

I have a dual 2.4 G and a 5 G network. I was connected to 2.4 G. How would I disable the 5 G network to install. Also, I did not have this problem with my old laptop which was running Windows 11 Home. I was able to install. What seems to be happening is that mid install the printer loses connection with the network and stops installing.
