PIXMA MG3620 - photo scans chopped into like 7 different images? Why?

I have one page I scan as a photo. I want the file to be the entire page. Instead it's in a bunch of files, IMG_20220912_0001, IMG_20220912_0002, to IMG_20220912_0007.

What is happening? How do I get photo scan to get everything on 1 page?

So we can best assist you, please let us know what version of Windows or Mac you are using. Also, please let us know if you are using the Canon IJ Scan Utility program.

What does the page consist of? Does the page have photos on it?

Try selecting document scan. Some scanner software in photo mode looks to find individual photos and individually scan them. Where you have individual blocks the software might think they are photos.
