PIXMA MG3620 - photo scans chopped into like 7 different images? Why?

I have one page I scan as a photo. I want the file to be the entire page. Instead it's in a bunch of files, IMG_20220912_0001, IMG_20220912_0002, to IMG_20220912_0007.

What is happening? How do I get photo scan to get everything on 1 page?

Try selecting document scan. Some scanner software in photo mode looks to find individual photos and individually scan them. Where you have individual blocks the software might think they are photos.
