Maxify MB5170 LAN Printing Issue (USB OK)

shimworld

I have a Maxify MB5170 setup to print over LAN that's accessible by three PCs. Has been working fine for a few years and all of a sudden it stopped working. Each time I send a document to the queue, status window shows "Creating Print Data" and nothing happens afterwards. I have tried removing the drivers, reinstalling fresh drivers, printer detection over LAN successful but keeps failing the test print. Subsequent prints post installation expectedly keeps failing too.

Printer works perfectly when connected to PC via USB cable. All the other PCs are also unable to print via LAN. All ink tanks are full. PC (Windows 7) appears to have no trouble communicating with the printer over LAN network.

Greetings,

With the printer and computer connected to the same network, perform the following troubleshooting steps.

Can you ping the printer's IP address?

Does the printer's webserver display in a browser when its IP is entered?

Do you have and 3rd party Anti-Virus, Security or firewall software installed. If so, try disabling it temporarily.
