I upgraded my OS to Sonoma, now my TS6220 printer is no longer working

I upgraded my OS to Sonoma, now my TS6220 printer is no longer working. Is there a current Firmware to support Sonoma? Pls help!

Greetings,

The TS6220 is about 6 yrs old.  Its supported under Ventura and will likely receive support under Sonoma.  Its not currently available now.

Its possible that disconnecting the printer, uninstalling the printer and its software, restarting and reinstalling the Ventura drivers (connecting the device when prompted to do so) might work.  This is a maybe.  There is no timeline for drivers that support Sonoma, but as I said, it appears likely. If you use Time Machine and need the printer to work, its easy to roll back.  Its free and included with MAC OS.

Can just roll back to OS Ventura for now you mean? Then just do the Sonoma OS upgrade when it becomes supported by Canon ...

Yes.  No reason this shouldn't work.  I'd try reinstalling first...  but the printer is fully supported under Ventura.

Thanks to you Rick now there's finally a way to make it work somehow...🙏🏼
