Hi gastrromush,
The reason you can't find the folder is that Windows Store apps (like Canon PRINT) are stored in a highly protected, hidden system folder called WindowsApps. Accessing it is a bit of a headache, but you don't actually need to go there to create a shortcut!
Here are two easier ways to get that icon on your desktop:
Method 1: Drag from the Start Menu
Open your Start Menu.
Find Canon PRINT in your list of apps.
Simply click and drag the icon from the Start Menu directly onto your desktop. Windows will create the shortcut automatically.
Method 2: The "Applications" Folder Trick
If dragging doesn't work, you can access a "hidden" folder that lists all your apps:
Press Windows Key + R on your keyboard.
Type shell:AppsFolder and press Enter.
Find Canon PRINT in the window, right-click it, and select Create shortcut.
Alternative: Use the Standard Desktop Version
If you prefer a traditional program (which installs into a normal folder like C:\Program Files), you can download the Drivers and Software package directly from Canon Support. Just type in your printer model, and look for the "Recommended" driver or the "IJ Scan Utility" package. These versions are much easier to find and create shortcuts for than the App Store version.
Hope this helps!

Hello,
thank you for replying, and sorry if i get back this late. While i couldn't drag&drop from start menu, the second way worked, and i now have the icon on the desktop.
Thanks for the help.
