Pixma MP560 Printing Bands

For some time, my MP560 has been printing in bands (stripes). I'm not a heavy duty user so it hasn't been a big issue but my wife now wants it fixed. 

I have deep cleaned the jets multiple times and aligned heads. The first "C" stripe on the alignment test page still shows as a double-band (darker top, lighter bottom) stripe. The rest all print pretty well. 

Any tips on how to fix?

Hi ericksonm,

Since the deep cleaning did not resolve the issue, I recommend cleaning the Encoder ( timing) strip. Please click HERE for the steps to perform this cleaning.

This did NOT solve the problem. THe printer still prints distinct bands / stripes across images.
