The 30 minute constriction of video recording

Fishun

Since the powershot cameras only allow a 30 minute window for shooting video. Is it possible that once it stops recording, can you start another segment for a additional 30 minute and so on and so on.

Hi Fishun,

Thanks for posting.

The answer is "Yes". Once the recording stops, you may start recording a new clip, up to 30 minutes long. The only limit, for the number of clips you can shoot, is the amount of space available on your camera's memory card.

One thing to consider: if you're getting near a critical part the event your filming, you may want to stop recording, then begin a new recording, so you may capture that part of the event with a reduced number of interuptions.
