Powershot G5X and RAW images

Hi there, I just purchased this Powershot G5X for my wife, and noticed that when shooting RAW images, they not only are not importable into Lightroom 5; but also not convertible by Adobe DNG converter.

How are RAW images supposed to be used?

You probably need to upgrade.

You might just have to be patient. They are supported by Apple.

Of course, you can always use Canon's DPP.

The latest Digital Photo Professional 4 (part of the free Canon Software downloads) works well.
