The last two days my printer has been shutting down and restarting every hour or two. When it does shut down it shows the word Canon with a progress bar under it that fills with green. Any ideas? TIA

The printer has auto power settings, but it should not automatically restart itself every hour. The issue you are describing sounds like a hardware or connection issue.
