Laser printer ImageClass MF733cdw continues to show error message E198-0000 and instructions to restart the printer, but restarting it does not solve the problem. Occasionally error message E733-000 will appear.
My search of community posts and the knowledge base did not show any recent fix, only a recommendation from 2013 to a different Canon product recommending a firmware update.
I then updated the firmware, but to no avail.
What do these error message refer to?
What is then next step?
