imageCLASS MF753Cdw - able to print on shrink plastic/shrinky dink paper?

Hi, 
I just replaced my printer and got a brand new imageCLASS MF753Cdw. It's fantastic and I'm extremely happy with it! I do art on the internet for my main income, and I had the idea of trying out shrink film paper to make shrinky dink type charms. I was wondering, since this is my first laser printer, if that type of paper would be safe to run through this printer? Shrink film shrinks when heated up in an oven (it's not recommended you put it through the microwave- oven only, usually), but I heard that laser printers utilize also heat to print. Would I be better off abandoning the idea, or would there be a way for me to run the shrink paper through it safely? I had this idea after I bought the thing, so it has no bearing on my satisfaction with the machine. I'll just do something different if I need to. Thank you!

Shrinky dink plastic is not supported.  I personally would not do it.  If the plastic heated and melted, that would be the end of your printer. I think it's a really cool idea, but the risk is just too high.  

But....

If you do decide to risk it, please post the results 🤞

Laser printers like the MF753Cdw get really hot and can cause shrink film to melt or warp inside the machine, so it’s not recommended. Inkjet printers are much safer for that kind of material. If you’re set on using shrink film, maybe consider a cheap inkjet just for those projects. Hope that helps!
