I just purchased the ImageClass MF743Cdw and I'm trying to get the scan-to-email function working properly. I even had my IT support person on the phone for over an hour trying to get it to work with me...neither of us could make it functional. I keep getting errors and I've tried several times.
Here are my settings under Email/I-Fax Settings after you press the EDIT button:
SMTP: I'm using is smtp.gmail.com
Email: XXX @gmail.com
No boxes checked until you get to SMTP authoritzation
User Name: XXX @gmail.com
Password: Using an App Password set up for mail function
Checked boxes: Use TLS for SMTP, Verify Certificate, Add CN to Verification Items
No other boxes checked
Port: I've tried both 456 and 587with no luck.
Help please!
