Greetings,
Is there anyway you can provide a picture of this "gap"? Is it a page break or an extended part of the scanned page left blank? Is it possible you have set the area to be scanned larger than the actual size of the document you are scanning?

Thanks, when I went to find something else to scan for you, I discovered that it works just fine on other documents so I thought it was fixed. I was trying to scan these envelopes and when I tried scanning them again, they still came out gappy.
