ImageCLASS MF445dw printing "GET ?eSCL/ScannerCapabilities HTTP/1.1 Host: localhost" many times a day wasting paper and i cant get it to stop! I have reloaded the software multiple times. Once it did stop until we had a brief power outage and now it is back and will not stop. Using windows 11.

Same problem here.
NEW Windows 11 PC, USB connection, every time computer turns on or wakes up I waste paper with "GET /eSCL/ ScannerCapbilities HTTP/1/.1" and next line down "Host: localhost"

exactly same issue. paper wastage.
i used the machine on wireless connection earlier and this never happened. but then the printer started losing connection randomly after a few months. prints would come out after a random period of about 30 mins or so. nothing on our network had changed, including the physical location of router and printer.
i switched to usb coz of this, and now the machine does random prints. it would have made more sense if it printed "I AM NOT GOING TO LET YOU LIVE IN PEACE"

The issue you are describing will usually point to a problem with the drivers used via USB on a Windows computer. To resolve this I would usually suggest uninstalling the MF455 drivers and then disconnecting the USB. Once disconnected, you can try installing the recommended driver from our support site.
