My IC D1620 recently began printing 3" long (approx) thin horizontal lines about an inch apart from each other, printing in the center of the page, up and down the entire page. This happens whether I use the platen or the ADF. I put a new OEM cartridge in and the same thing occurs, however the lines are not centered, up and down on the page, they are printing on the left margin, up & down the page. Any ideas?
Thank you.

Hello,
The issue could be caused by a problem with the hardware, or the toner needs to be replaced. You can try reseating the toner cartridges and gently shaking the toner cartridges to make sure the toner is evenly distributed. You can also try cleaning the printer's fixing assembly.
If you continue to have the issue, it looks like the printer needs service. You can log into your MyCanon account to check your available service options.
