i have a 4 month old mb2320 maxify and its displaying error code 5040. i have re-booted and unplugged and replugged several times and nothing is working

That link says to do exactly what OP said has already been done.
I am also having this issue with the same printer and I have also done the suggested actions with zero results.
Any useful information on this issue would be nice as my printer is only a few months old but now as useful to me a huge paper weight.

If you had done exactly what the link said you would have called service. What was their suggestion?
