Unable to do factory reset on MAXIFY GX4020, stuck on error screen

Hi. Doing a warranty return on a GX4020. It's stuck in error mode (1300 printer jam). I want to factory reset it before I send it back. However, I cannot get out of the error screen. It comes up on power on and stays there. The only way I could find not using the screen was to do power and stop simultaneously, release stop and press it 5 times and release power. However, with the screen stuck in error mode, pressing anything other than power gives you invalid beep and it doesn't seem to do anything. Any ideas, or am I out of luck?

Depending on the issue, it may be difficult or impossible for you to reset your printer right now.

Take a look at this KB article I wrote.  I think it'll make you feel a little bit better.

Here are the steps for a factory reset, but if you can't get past the error, you may not be able to do it.

Thanks for the help. Yes, I think I'm going to be unable to reset. The printer is stuck in the error page and no buttons or commands work.
