Scanner rotating scans

Dear Community Canon Gurus,

I'm having issues were I scan documents on my Canon MB2300 series Network Multifunction scanner and printer rotates select pages on a multi-page document.  I'm using WIndows 10 Enterprise OS with latest patches(version 21H1 OS build: 19043.1165)

I did see this post: https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Printer-Multifunction-Support/scanner-problems/m-p/251814

But I can't find where to turn off auto adjust orientation in the Canon U Scan Utility software.

Kindly advise,

-Darin

Hi unixgod,

If the original's text is not detected well, the "Correct slanted textt document" or "Detect the orientation of text document and rotate image" options may rotate your original.

To disable these options, please open the IJ Scan Utility and follow these steps:

1.  Click on the Settings button.

2.  Click on Document Scan on the left side.

3.  On the right side, click the plus.gif next to Image Processing Settings.

4.  Disable both "Correct slanted textt document" or "Detect the orientation of text document and rotate image".
