I have a Color imageCLASS LBP632Cdw laser printer connected to my WiFi. It goes into sleep mode and is no longer found on network for printing, I have to go to printer and physically wake it before being able to print
I cannot find a setting to disable sleep mode completely, how can I solve this annoying problem and have the printer wake upon print commands, or just never go into power save/sleep mode?
Solved! Go to Solution.

Gave up and replaced it with a Laserjet. Toner may cost a bit more (not sure), but it solved this WiFi/sleep issue and the printer just works every time I hit print from a mobile or laptop.

Same issue here! This printer is about to be returned.

It is laser. And yes I am giving up.
Returning it as it sounds like anything Canon with Energy Star on it forces you to conform.
