Double printing is usually a sign of a dirty encoder strip or there is something wrong with the hardware. You can start by cleaning the printers encoder strip using the steps in the link HERE. If you are asked to enter a username or password when using the printer, you can check the operation restrictions on the printer using the touchscreen. You can view the restriction settings use the link HERE. If cleaning the encoder does not resolve the double printing, it looks like the printer needs service. You can check your service options by logging into your MyCanon account.
