PIXMA TR4722 only prints double-sided

I have a Pixama TR4722.  It print's double sided all the time wasting paper. all settings for double sided are turned off. Using front tray  HOW to get it to print ONE page at a time!

Windows settings (I suggest you reboot your PC with the printer on to refresh settings first. 

Automatic Duplex Printing Settings

The Canon PIXMA TR4722 is designed to print double-sided automatically when the automatic duplex printing feature is enabled. If your printer is only printing double-sided, it may be due to the current settings.

Check Printer Settings
