To have a better understanding of your issue, please let everyone know what operating system (Windows Vista/7/8 or Mac OS 10.X) you are using. That way, the community will be able to assist you with suggestions appropriate for your product.
Please use the operational panel on the printer:
<Menu> <Function Settings> <Printer> <Printer Settings> <2-Sided Printing> Select <Off>
In the Windows OS Printer Properies open the printer driver, please perform the following:
Click on [Basic Settings] tab.
Click on the down arrow [1-sided / 2-sided Printing].
Select [1-sided].
Click on [OK] button at the bottom.
Open a program and print.
If the program you are printing from will not accept made in the driver, you can create a custom default or have to change to 1-sided each time.
