MF743Cdw vs MF753Cdw

I noticed that Canon and various retailers are now selling the MF753Cdw. A quick visual inspection of the new model shows a couple of differences.

One that stands out is that the NFC sensor is missing from the side of the display (which appears to have a redesigned mount).

Has NFC been removed from the 753? 🤔

A few other differences are a differently shaped on/off button, a different flap to keep printed pages from being pushed out of the machine, and the display's home page looks a bit different than the 730 & 740 series.

With the new 750 lineup, new toner cartridges have been introduced and are not interchangeable with the 730 & 740 series:

730 series = 046 toner cartridges.

740 series = 055 toner cartridges.

750 series = 069 toner cartridges.

Hello Dexman335,

The MF753Cdw does not support NFC, but you would still be able to connect from a mobile device using the printer's direct wifi connection or across a network.

Hello Dexman335,

I suppose that NFC was a nice feature to have. Can't say how often I use it 😐.

I also noticed that the 753 weighs a little less than the 733 & 743. 🤔
