Hi!

I am out of yellow toner. I want to print in b/w only and it gives me an error signal. How can I do this?

Thanks, Lucie

Hello Lucie,

You can continue printing in black and white even if the yellow, magenta, or cyan cartridge has reached the end of its lifetime by choosing "Only Continue Black & White Printing" when the "End of Toner Cart. Lifetime" message appears (see example below).

 <Display Recovery Steps>
Displays the procedure for replacing a toner cartridge.
 <Continue Printing (Quality Not Guaranteed)>
You can continue printing, but the machine may malfunction.
 <Only Continue Black & White Printing>

Thank you for the reply. When I select Recover, then print b&w, it brings me back to Recover and the whole process starts over. It would not print.

Hi Lucie,

Did you select "Only Continue Black & White Printing" on your MF726Cdw then print from your computer?

Sonya,

I tried, but the message (print b&w) does not stay. It reverts to Recover... I tried the support options but could not find what I needed. Thanks!
