Hello Tax559,
You can try canceling any jobs waiting to be printed on the computer. This could be caused by a poor connection or a problem with the print spooler service on the computer.
- You can press the Windows key and the letter R key at the same time on your keyboard.
- In the run box that appears, you can type in control printers and click OK.
- Right click on the printer and select see what's printing.
- Right click on any of the jobs in the list and select cancel all documents.
That should cancel any jobs being sent to the printer. If the jobs do not delete, you can try restarting the print spooler service on the computer.
- You can press the Windows key and the letter R key at the same time on your keyboard. In the run box that appears, you can type in services.msc and click OK.
- In the list of service that appear, you can scroll through and highlight the print spooler service.
- Click restart in the upper left hand corner.
If the jobs do not delete, or if you can't restart the service, you can try restarting the computer and then trying to cancel the jobs. If the issue continues, you can try improving the printer connection. If connected via USB, try another port on the computer or a new cable. Avoid using any USB hubs or extensions. If over a network, unplug your router form the power for 5 seconds and then plug it back in. once the network is back up, you can try printing again.
If you still have problems after trying the steps above, I would suggest contacting support at 1-800-652-2666, our agents would be happy to assist with any issues.
