I keep getting a software error when trying to scan. "MF Scan Utility that is supported by the scanner you are using may not be installed on your computer. Install the appropriate MF Scan Utility, and the perform the operation again." I downloaded the software ([Windows 64bit] MF242dw MFDrivers (UFR II / ScanGear)) and re-installed three times, each time restarting the computer, and keep getting the same error message. Using standard Windows 10 64 bit.

Hello bschw,
The scan utility is a separate piece of software and does not install with the drivers. You can download the Scan utility using the link provided HERE. You can click on the option for drivers and downloads next to the picture of the printer and then you find the scan utility under the software tab.
