MB2120 too many paper sizes

tgivaughn

ONE paper tray soooo

changing to new paper size, e.g. 8.5x11 to 4x6 inches

user is FORCED to go through 10-14 paper size choices on the printer EVERY CHANGE of paper?!?!?!?!?

How to either DELETE never/seldom used "stock sizes" with ability to add them back later (BEST SOLUTION)

or at least have DEFAULT Paper A and Paper B posted as the #1 & #2 choices to "register" on printer upon every paper change?

Noooo I DO NOT want another front + rear paper feed source, thank you very little ... same hassle only with feeding issues constantly!

HI tgivaughn,

You won't be able to remove any paper sizes from the list but there are ways around having to select the paper size on the printer every time you load paper. You can go into the settings and you can turn off the settings for detect cassette reinsertion and detect paper settings mismatch. To turn the settings off, you can follow the steps below.

  1. Swipe through the icons on the home screen and tap on setup when it appears.
  2. In setup tap on the option for device settings.
  3. In device settings tap on cassette settings.
  4. In cassette settings, you can select detect cassette reinsertion and you can select no.
  5. In cassette settings, you can select detect paper settings mismatch and you can select no.

After changing the settings you won't need to select the paper size on the printer whenever you change paper. The only place you will need to select your paper size will be on the device that you are printing from.
