I am trying to figure out why I have verticle black lines (looking at print out) on the left side front and right side back when I print anything. I cleaned it inside and it is still doing it.
What is causing it and how to stop it?

Hi,
If you performed at least 2 bottom plate cleaning and ink is still being transferred to the paper then the printer would require service.
If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.
If the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.

I will try the bottom plate cleaning two times and see how it does and go from there. Thank you!

I was able to get it to clear up when I was asking a year ago. They lines are back again and I have done the bottom plate cleaning. What else can I try as it is out of warranty and I REALLY like my machine even though it is 6+ yrs old.
