LBP632CDW Toner issues

Not sure if  this is an office printer, but it's not an inkjet.  I have this LBP632CDW.  I was having some issues using generic toner with leaving spots on the paper so I upgraded to the 4x the cost canon toner.  But sometimes the cartridge works, and sometimes it doesn't and I have to swap it out with amazon.  I'm trying to see if there is anything I can do different or haven't thought of.  I don't see any orange strip to remove like on some toners, nothing, but it looks like the magenta I just put in isn't working.  It shows full on the screen.

If it's user error, I'd like to "fix" me.  Any thoughts?

Has anyone experience issues recently with Canon toner?  I've done all the "maintenance" options in the menu.  What can I do to get quality out of this printer?

That model number is a color laser printer.  Did you consider the fact that the generic toner may have done some damage, or left some mess inside the printer?  Have you removed everything you can and cleaned the inside of the printer?

I didn't b/c I've been using Canon toner since the end of July and only used the generics for a couple of months preceding that.  I didn't think the problem would crop up in October, but all things are possible.  I have run the maintenance utilities.  How much am I able to safely clean inside?  I saw another thread, where they acted like you weren't supposed to do anything else.

At least take everything out and see if there's anything odd going on.

Ok, I ran the 2 "cleaning utilities" a few times.  I'll try the 3 hour condenser one was well.  I read conflicting answers on google:  air can to clean, or do not use an air can?

I only started on generics by the way when I had a hard time initially tracking down certain colors.  Then it didn't make sense to mix and match, but all 4 are back available.  (might have been yellow for one, I can't remember now).  I almost thought Canon had discontinued making them.  It went on for that long, which irritated me b/c I just got this printer a few months ago brand new.  My 1st Canon.  I've always had HPs.

I wasn't sure if this would help, but I figured I'd try it.  I know in all likelihood I just need to replace the printer, b/c that's cheaper than repairing it.  Canon says they no longer support this model that I bought brand new a few months ago.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I replaced almost every cartridge except blue.

I don't really know what you're talking about.  The  LBP632CDW is a current printer, it's still sold by Canon and other outlets, and is being supported.  And if what you're saying is true, it's still under warranty.

That's what the Canon website said a couple of days ago when I looked up my support options.  I bought it in November, so the year can't be up and I did register.   Do you know what might cause the print-out to look like that?
