When I place a document in the feed to be scanned, the orientation is fine. But when I place the same document on the platen and scan it, it only scans in portrait ("Top") mode. This means that for a landscape document ("Left" orientation), the OCR attempts to find words running vertically down the page.
I am using the MF Toolbox tool (downloaded from the Canon website today, so it should be current--it's version 4.9), PDF mode.
