I recently purchased and installed a new Dell computer in order to have Windows 11. I tried to connect my old Cannon ImageClass D530 and it is not recognized. Is there anything I can do to continue using my printer, which is still in excellent working condition.

What do you mean "not recognized"? Have you tried installing the printer's driver and software, found here:

What happens?
Does your new computer have an ARM processor, as opposed to an Intel or AMD processor? If it does, there aren't drivers from Canon for it. You will be limited to whatever functionality that Windows' built-in driver does.

Thank you so very much!!! I have the printer working and I am so grateful. Any suggestions on how to get the scanner to work? I would have thought it would be the same driver but it isn't working.

Again, what is the problem with the scanner? Did the driver install scanner software? Can you scan from the printer with the printer's controls? I don't have this printer.
