ImageCLASS D570 won't accept phone line for faxing

Can someone explain why there is a fax option on this model printer but wont setup. It will not accept the phone line.

Where do you see that this printer has FAX capability? It does not. If it did, it would have a telephone jack on it.

The machine has fax options pre-loaded from Canon.

Faxing requires a telephone line connection as far as I know.

What are the "faxing options pre-loaded from Canon"?
