imageCLASS MF656Cdw Scan/fax set up, SMTP connection issue

Hi,

I am a new customer of Cannon. I bought a new Imageclass656c, and I have not been able to scan my document. The system could not check my SMTP connection to the SMTP server. I have checked my internet, it is working. I will appreciate any help. Thanks!

Greetings,

You need to use an app password.  For Gmail, enter the 16 digits without dashes.  Be sure to use port 587.

Greetings ,

In order for your printer to scan to email or use iFax, you need to enter SMTP settings for your mail host into its remote UI.  What mail host do you intend to use?

I'm having the exact same issue!

Windows 11

#806 Error when trying to scan to email
 
I've read several posts, and forum responses, still with no luck.
Canon ImageClass MF656 Cdw
I've setup the Remote UI.
Email Address: miller43334@gmail.com
Check SMTP Connection = Success.
I've tried using the SMTP Authentication. And I've tried using the TLS for SMTP TX. Neither have been successful. I'm obviously missing something, but I can't figure it out. Please advise.
