My MF242dw is displaying a message that the battery has run out and the time cannot be reset. I assume there is a built-in battery, but don't know how to recharge or replace it if necessary. I'd like to know how to correct this problem.
If the battery is dead, you can manual set the date from the operation panel and it should cancel the message. You should be able to print when the message is displayed. The date time setting would only get in the way of Google cloud print and Google has ended that service. Unfortunately, the battery is not accessible so you not be able to replace it.
