Canon ImageCLASS MF247dw - could not install the driver

Running Win 10 64 bit

Canon ImageClass MF247dw

The driver was installed and printing without any problem.

all of a sudden, the printer was not recognized. Uninstalled the driver and tried to install again but an error msg "Could not install the printer driver. Try to install again" appears. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi humaid143.

If the printer was suddenly not recognized, and the driver can no longer be reinstalled, check your computer's security software. Ensure that the printer's connection and the driver installation is not being blocked by the security software.  You may need to run the driver installation as an administrator on the computer.
