Ivy Cliq won't charge or turn on

My daughter hasn't used it in over a year, been sitting in the box.
We tried to charge it so she can use it again.

The camera won't take a charge with supplied usb cable nor any other usb cable, and device won't turn on even after leaving plugged in for 2 days.

What can be done?  Why would it die without being touched?

It sounds like a hardware issue and the printer would need to be replaced. There is an option to have it serviced and more information about repairs can be found HERE.
