PIXMA TR8620a spooling issue and driver not available

so im rather knowledgeable of technology but i seem to be at a loss of answers on this one. so i have it when i go to the run services msr the print spooler wants to keep stop running and after a minute or 2 after i right click and start print spooler it will turn back off. and the other thing im seeing is under printers and scanners it says driver is unavailable I've attempted to remove the driver and reinstall but then it says it cant find my printer. i have it wired connection (LAN) to my router and my pc is also wired to my router. i can do a file scan by on the control panel and right clicking the printer and hit start scan and the printer will then start the scan and send it back to my pc. so i know it can connect with atless the scan but why wont it do the same with printing? what do i need to do to get it fixed or is my printer broken?

Hi bduskey,

Have you run the Printer Troubleshooter?

To do this, please follow these steps:

1.  On your computer, please press the Windows key on your keyboard and the letter X, then let both go.

2.  In the Search box in the upper left, type "troubeshoot" and click on Troubleshoot Settings if you are using Windows 11.  If you are using Windows 10, the "Search settings" box is in the middle.

3.  Click on "Other troubleshooters" if you are using Windows 11 or "Additional Troubleshooters" if using Windows 10.

4.  Click the Run button to the right of "Printer" if using Windows 11 or on "Printer" if using Windows 10.

Follow the on screen prompts to run and complete the troubleshooter.
