I'm running an iMac with MacOS High Sierra V10.13.1 and wondering, does anyone know if Canon is going to have an update to the LiDe 220 scanner so I can use the buttons on the front of the scanner? Found out that my version of OS does not support the scanner buttons and have to use the IJ Scan Utility 2 to do all the work. That's fine, but it would be nice if I could just push a button to do the scanning I need from time to time.

Hi PicMatt,
The newer versions of the Macintosh operating system do not support TWAIN devices (like your Canon scanners) as much as previous versions. This has disabled the SCAN buttons on the scanner. I'm afraid no further information is available at this time, and I regret any inconvenience.
