replace 70d mode dial

How can I remove the mode dial on 70d, the top cover fell off and I can't change modes.

I already have a replacement.

From what i understand it involves a major teardown of the camera body. I would contact Canon.

thanks for the answer.

A number of people on different forums have enquired about replacing the mode dial on the 70d - no one knows a simple D.I.Y.-answer. Canon will do it for $250.

At least my camera is stuck in the M-mode 🙂
