Error 30 Canon 5D Mark II

error 30 in my Canon Mark !! 

EOS 30 D Err 99 Message

I have a EOS 30 D that reads ERR 99...Shooting is not possible....I can get about a dozen more shots after I remove and put the battery back in, then the ERR 99 reappears...I have original Canon batteries....Any ideas of what to do....Thanks!Bill

Recommendation on Canon Model

What is the best camera to take outside sports shots of soccer both night and day and basketball inside shots?  I currently have the nikon D60 and have difficulty taking clear inside or night shots.  Any thoughts?
