Wifi on 6D

The first couple times I tried the wireless on the 6D it worked flawlessly , now everytime I put in the the number digit password in my phone wifi network, the phone says it's conencted but then the wifi turns off on the camera. I tried forgetting network on the phone, defaulting my camera's settings. I have only used wifi on this three times ..and the camera is less than a year old. Anyone have any suggestions or do I just have a bad apple?

Make sure you don't hit EXIT on wifi confirm screen. If you do, it will turn off the wifi.

i figured it out..i sort of exited..i was supposed to go directly to opening the app on the phone once i entered the password ..a step i was skipping..thanks
