Re: Camera saying busy and won't take pictures

Hello everyone ^-^

I just got my Canon EOS Rebel t5 yesterday. And I am having trouble with it. When I go in AF mode, I can focus but when I press the shutter button to take a picture, it won't take a picture. I can take a picture in MF mode though. I tried both of the lens I have in AF mode, both does the same; "can focus but won't take a picture". Please help me 😞

-Thank you so much all 🙂

What conditions are you shooting in. It sounds like the camera is not achieving focus.

Well, I was trying to take a picture of my dog outside in day time. I focused on her and when I pressed shutter button, it wouldn't take a picture. 😞

Once in a while, it said "busy", but I wasn't even doing anything for it to be "busy". 😞

My bf helped me to get it to work, thank you.

I had a similar problem when my camera was new.  After I downloaded my first photos to my computer, I formatted the SD card using my computer.  When I went to use my camera it worked OK for the first few shots, then it quit working and just said Busy.  I re-formatted the card in the camera and it's worked great ever since.
