Does the Canon R have a RAW burst mode?

No. But, like all Canon cameras, it has various high speed modes, but not "Raw burst" where it stores the images in a film roll.

You are welcome, RashanAara.

It's a nice feature. I did a quick Google search for Canon cameras that have the feature and got an AI bot return that was not quite complete, so I filled it in.

EOS R3, EOS R6 Mark II, EOS R7, EOS R8, EOS R10, and I added the EOS R1 and EOS R5 Mark II. To the best of my knowledge, that's it.

I have the R6 II and R5 II, and really enjoy pre-shoot.

Yes, I tried the AI bot before posting the question on the community forum, and it said the Canon R did have a RAW burst mode, which I tried to find on my camera but in vain.

I saw that one also, but when I read its directions on how to activate it, I knew it was incorrect. I changed my search criteria to "which Canon cameras" have the feature and got a better answer.

IMO, AI isn't ready for prime time. Maybe for general information, but even for that you need to dig deeper and rely on human experience.

True, I have got many wrong answers from the AI bot, especially for the Canon R, which the bot confuses with the whole Canon R range. For example, I asked it if the Canon R has focus bracketing, and it said yes. The Canon R does not have that feature.
