R6 Mark ii Strobe Lighting Recommendation

Pre-Ordered EL-5 Speedlite, ( March/2023 ).
I want a Strobe Light also. Please Recommend a GREAT Strobe light for the R6 Mark II

Hi, I like the FJ400s by Westcott.

The strobes you mentioned are NOT compatible with the R6 Mark II. Another user in the forums mentioned compatibility problems with them.

they very much are... I did have to update the firmware on the transmitter but yes they are indeed compatible and work flawlessly.

I didn't know that they fixed the compatibility problem. The manufacturer was unaware that their product wasn't compatible with the R6 Mark II.

Yeah, I'm starting to find out the R6 Mark II is extremely selective when it comes to accessories.  I'm having a Challenge finding a compatible Strobe Lighting

I've been hearing good things about Westcott products, thank you, I will do a little research

I only use Canon's speedlites for lighting, but own a large set of Westcott modifiers which I really enjoy (umbrellas to include their 7-foot ones, soft boxes, strip boxes, beauty dish, grids).

that's actually a great idea, and purchasing 2 EL-5 Speedlites are less expensive than 1 westcott strobe.
