I was noticing on a recent sports event that my R6 paired with my EF 24-105 f/4 (vello adapter) showed significant chromatic abberation (I think) -- see attached image. The R6 settings for abberration are ON. I've not seen this before. Anyone experience this ?

This image looks pretty good at actual size. Are you using any lens filters?

Can you upload the RAW file to Dropbox or One Drive?

If it was simple diffraction, I would expect to see the halo effect around the person, or at least on the brightest areas, but I am intrigued that is found only on the cyclist's trailing edge...

No filters used. Appreciate everyone's attention to the issue.

Yes lens correction is applied in LR. Thanks for clarifying the source of CA - I'm not technical enough about cameras and such.

I think what you are seeing is "blooming".

DPP reports the RGB values of the area around the edge of the helmet and shirt as 255,255,255 (i.e. locally blown out).

"Are you using any lens filters?"
If you are discard it. Secondly, get a Canon adapter. But that could actually be what the camera and lens saw if it was a hot day. Heat wave rising from the rider.
