Hello, I just purchased the R5ii,. When I transfer pictures and videos from my CF express card to my iPad Pro, the videos aren’t showing up . am I doing something wrong, do I need to format the card. I have never used the CF Xpress card before.

What format did you use to record the video? I recall that not all the formats that the EOS R5 Mark II can create are possible to be played back on an iPad without some processing.

XF-AVC S YCC422 10 bit

Greetings,
Brian is correct. You will need to convert to .mp4 or h.264 to playback on an iOS device. If you don't want to go through conversion, I'd shoot in .mp4 from the get-go.
