Just bought a T6i, with wireless and NFC, but the 2 Canon apps say it's not compatible?!

Agree this is a huge oversight. Large part of the reason for buying was Wifi and to find out it doesn't do the one mode I really wanted is seriously disappointing. Why in heck would I want to view that many images via my cell phone?! Bad form Canon.

Goes to show that it is physically possible at least.
I recently found another thread on a different site where lots of people have also felt misled.
